Q: Are Vulcaanhaven rates always more competitive than others? If so, why?

A: Usually Vulcaanhaven rates are sharper than others. Reasons are simple: more production during the day, direct communication between office/warehouse, tailor made computersoftware, etc. We think that our overall infrastructure is superior to that of our competition. In comparison with others, we have more to offer at a neutrally located facility. Our advice: check rates in relation to service. If you are not happy with your present arrangement, give us a call, and we'll work something out. Remember: all our clients are important to us! back to top

Q: Are turn around times on processing (crushing/screening) quicker?

A: Yes, they sure are. Presently we have 6 machines operational, including one machine to process cored wire size. We are able to dedicate one machine for each product. Management  at Vulcaanhaven is directly involved in the day to day planning of all orders.
Crushing or screening is not just putting it through a machine. A lot of things have to be done and checked before we start the processing of your product. Also after the actual processing is finished, a lot needs to be done (packing/weighing/reporting/customs formalities/arranging delivery). For internal use we receive hourly progress reports from the processing department, so we can anticipate and plan ahead on the next orders. back to top
